Excellent course markings. Friendly, helpful marshals, great choice of items at fuel stations. Only concern was not being able to properly access a suitable course map. The last 1-2 miles uphill was a bit of a shock!! Also, might have been nice to have veteran age categories...

Great event, one of the best I've done. Only improvements I'd make are music before the start to improve the atmosphere, and the star line was congested, so I got stuck at the back and it was difficult to pass people. Race photos were great, Aids stations had brilliant selecti...

Great event, one of the best I've done. Only improvements I'd make are music before the start to improve the atmosphere, and the star line was congested, so I got stuck at the back and it was difficult to pass people. Race photos were great, Aids stations had brilliant selection, freebies after the race were a nice bonus!

First trail run with Mavericks. Seemed very well organised, from parking marshalls on arrival, quick check in, briefing at start. Well signposted route, good aid stops, Marshalls on course. Food, snacks, drinks ,coffee etc at end (extra charge) although rice bars, energy drink...

First trail run with Mavericks. Seemed very well organised, from parking marshalls on arrival, quick check in, briefing at start. Well signposted route, good aid stops, Marshalls on course. Food, snacks, drinks ,coffee etc at end (extra charge) although rice bars, energy drinks given at end for free. I recommend. Good well organised event. Definitely will do another Maverick event.

Such a well organised event, loads of parking, short walk to the start, lots of drinks and snacks pre and post race, lots of it free! Really nice vibe, runners supporting each other and Maverick staff helpful, friendly, full of smiles and cowbells. Course was great, well signed, ...

More porta-loos! At the end of the race, I accidentally ran into the car park as there was an arrow (not the race arrows just a directional arrow) pointing to it, I heard of quite a few other runners doing the same! Even though it seems obvious to more experienced runners it would have helped me to have an extra running arrow sign telling me to continue straight by the turn into the car park.

Hi Emily - many thanks for taking the time to feedback….there’s always more that can be done sustainability wise but everyone has to play their part. We’re continually looking for was to improve so all feedback is welcome. Not sure what happened with runners going into the carpark by mistake as we didn’t hear anything on the day so couldn’t respond it. We do hope you had a good day!
