Lovely friendly event with great stewards. Perhaps the entrance/exit timer for the bikes could be closer to the mount line so that time spent getting between the two does not count towards the time spent on the bike. BTW, we are planning to join you again next year.

The event at Grafham Water was well managed and professionally planned. The competitors were lovely and very supportive, as were the marshalls and event staff. Brilliant atmosphere. Good bike route. My wife and I loved it. We will be back. That said there are a couple of things which would make the race even better: Water quality for the swim at the start and end was very muddy under foot and for the first 100 yards of swimming. After that water quality was good throughout. It would have been nicer for the event to have put matting further out into the water to avoid some of the thigh deep churned up soft mud (or possibly/also to have the start and finish in separate places off the bank). Also the mandatory wetsuit wash (insisted upon by Grafham Water apparently) should have had clean water & Milton throughout the time of the event and not just a puddle of mud in a bin to "rinse" our wet suits by the time we late finishers got there. Also (a minor point) it would be good for the organisers to put the bike route on Strava ahead of time, although I have to say the course was very well marked and marshalled.

Great event and extremely well organised. Lovely venue, huge car park (although exit a little troublesome - outside the control of the organisers), very quick and smooth registration, fast course although one or two tests in the swim and cycle (cf mud, wind, Ellington hill)! Particularly good for less experienced like me as whole experience was idiot proof - briefings/signage/marshalls made it impossible to go wrong. Overall a very good day out for entrants and spectators.

A great course, especially for someone not at the front! The ride and run being in a loop a made me feel part of the triathlon as there was always riders and runners around me. Staff and marshals friendly and helpful as always with a ATW event. This was my second time and both times a big event. The two criticisms is the wait to get my documents. You have the chance to get a reduced parking fee which is great. Unfortunately the que is vis the coffee shop and takes a long time. This yearni didn't bother waiting and just paid the full amount.

Good event, well marshalled and a good course. Long queues to drop stuff in transition delayed start time, as there was only one marshal checking people going into transition. Also got stuck behind cars on the climbs, but this is outside of the organisers control. Grafham water is great to swim in, the water is very clear, bike course has 2 major climbs and is uninterrupted excluding a foot down point in the final third. Run Course was good, it was paved for the first 3.5Km along the dam wall and short 1.5K on grass before coming into the finish.
