What happened to the used kit collection? Couldn't find anyone to collect it

Hi Margaret, This wasn't something we were able offer this year and we invited all participants to consider a donation or fundraising for Shelter. Should we be able to offer this in the future, we'll make sure that it is included in all comms well in advance. We hope you still enjoyed the race!

Please describe the course honestly in future. Sherwood today was neither fast or flat or in excellent condition as we were told. It was hilly and very very boggy with mud and puddles. More accuracy please.

Hi Ian, Just to follow up on the email communications, a note to say we've taken the comments on board. The team do their hardest on this and despite the packed surface, the rain before the race and the impact of runners (some doing the two laps) obviously affected the route more than was genuinely anticipated. We hope you'll join us for more races next year!

As always well organised and well marshalled throughout. Nice route through the forest and great xmas medal at the finish. Plenty of parking and good toilets by the start area. Out of the event's hands but shame the cafe there is too small for the event as we saw the queue out the door after our run, so we left to find another cafe around 10 minute drive away at Vicar Water. Very enjoyable event and look forward to the next one at Salcey Forest in 3 weeks!

Generally happy. Shame there wasn't a stronger Christmasy vibe e.g. music, staff/volunteers in costumes, signs/decorations on route.
