What a race!!! This is the second time I've done it, and loved absolutely every moment again. The scenery, the vastness, the sunrise, the heat, the pans, all add to a spectator place and race. Well worth it. The organisation and logistics are amazing considering the remoteness of it. The staff and volunteers are all incredible and really do add to the overall experience. The food is fantastic. The organisers take safety seriously and hold multiple online meetings in the lead up to set expectations. Communication is great. And it's just a good bunch of people creating a great vibe. Just remember flat isn't easy!

Overall, a well organised event. My main suggestion or feedback would be that there was not enough available in terms of soft drinks and refreshments, particularly on the night before the race. Please consider making items such as Coke/Pepsi, other soft drinks and even some basic snacks available, even if for sale. Also, if the bar could be better stocked with additional items such as gin, coolers etc. Not everyone drinks beer or wine so the selection was very limited. I would also have appreciated finish photos as there were very few available.

Unbelievable event, the amount of hard work and effort that went into making this is truly above and beyond. From the race directors to the volunteers there was nothing but pure passion and energy. Thank you to all involved for making every runner feel special and looked after! The only improvement I would suggest is a bigger shaded area for supporters. For us runners it was absolutely ideal. 3 pools and an ice bath!!! Next level hospitality- never experienced this at a race before. Well done and thank you to everyone involved.

Brutally amazing race. What really stood out were the amazing and helpful aid station volunteers, without whom the finish would never have been in sight.
