The event itself was good, with excellent routes (parts of which were duplicated over the 3 days but this didn't matter), all aided by great weather (which obviously cannot be guaranteed). The campsite was grassy and level and good for camping, and well provided with toilet and shower facilities. Decent provision of catering options for purchase on-site. In the lead up to the event, i.e. the last 3 weeks or so, a good amount of communication was shared with participants regarding the event. Unfortunately, emails sent 5 and 4 months ahead of the event, together with an enquiry subsequently sent via the "Contact Us" facility on the website, did not receive a response. For a first time participant (who had registered 10 months ahead of the event) responses to general enquiries regarding the practicalities of the event would have been welcomed.

We were late entry to this race following relocation of the British Gravel Champs (so had never originally intended to do a stage race). The decision to travel so much further and take on a much tougher event was largely based on previous experience with Red On events - they are a cut above anything else and this was no different. A fantastic event with incredible routes and organisation. Chapeau Red On!

The event overall was excellent again. Second year and was just as good if not better. Fenwicks do a great job supporting with wash and maintenance stations. The whole vibe is amazing and the stages beautifully brutal. Only improvement would be to better stock the finish area. On the second day this was stripped bare and there was no water left. Likely due to the extra people thanks to the British champs being the same day.
