I completed the Bluebell Bash Half Marathon on Sunday and what a joyful, memorable run it was. The route carried us over rolling hills, through pockets of beautiful bluebell woods, past the unmistakable smell of fresh wild garlic, and alongside stunning fields of bright yellow rapeseed. Every mile offered something new to enjoy, with views that truly lifted the spirit.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising such a wonderful event. Special thanks to Natalie from Metalworks for creating such a beautiful medal , a real keepsake and to Phil for capturing the day so perfectly on camera. The only part I didn’t enjoy was navigating the hard tractor marks, which felt more like an assault course than a running surface, but even that couldn’t take away from the overall experience. I’ll definitely be booking again for next year and can’t wait to return.
