Great day, the children really enjoyed it. Lovely venue and great atmosphere. First time taking part in a triathlon and my son is keen to take part in another one. Great event photos. Just waiting on the swimming ones to be added. Only downside … a couple of the children went the wrong way on their bikes to begin with so this could maybe do with clearer signs or a marshal pointing them in the right direction as it added extra time onto their results.

Our first triathlon with our son and it was brilliant. Great atmosphere, friendly helpful staff at the transition area. The only tiny bit of feedback was that the signage for kids age 8-10 who have never done it before was a bit confusing in patches. Mainly about the loops. Needed to be bigger and more obvious for beginners. Perhaps more volunteers to direct. As I witnessed kids running and cycling too many loops for their category and also those that only ran one lap when they should’ve done 2. Other than that I was so impressed and I can’t wait to come back with my very excited children next year!! They have the triathlon bug now!!

Great event, friendly team of ATW staff and lovely volunteers. A few changes this year that made a huge difference to particant safety , spectator movement and viewing potential. Fab medals as always.

The standard of participants was extremely high (which we didn’t fully realize) and the possibility of learning a lot as a first timer was very strong. Thank you for a well run and inclusive event.

Improvements need to be made at registration to prevent very long queues. It wasn't obvious there were age group queues due to the congestion. Could registration open earlier? We arrived in plenty of time, 11.20am and still very rushed to be ready for 1pm due to queues. The crossing point on the course needs some serious consideration, it was so hard to cross and I felt sorry for the marshalls. There needs to be a better solution for next year. It was unsafe at times and I missed my sons race being held up at crossing. But we thoroughly enjoyed our day. I liked the addition of the coffee truck and ice cream van near the finish area. Could the portaloos be moved to this area too? It was a long walk back and forwards and with needing to cross each time it made it harder than it needed to be.. Loved the announcer and the medals were fab.

Thanks for your feedback Bernadette, due to the adult triathlon registration was unable to open earlier. The team worked hard to ensure that people were in the right queues. Your feedback will be seen by the event organisers. So pleased your son enjoyed the day.

The setting was great but we would have loved the 50 metre pool to be open as the pool boom was broken so they had to get out out of one pool and walk to the next to finish their lengths (TS2). I hope the school can sort it for next year as we would really like to try the whole pool!

Great signage around the course and specifically in transition. The swim area and cafe area don't work for the volume of kids and parents. Wonder if the 'mustering' could be different. Having the whole wave grouping together yet having timed gap single entry might give an opportunity to handle differently with less crowding in the cafe, toilet entry, swim corridor area.

This is the perfect event, glad we found it :-) I took part (parent speaking) in the adult sprint in the morning and my son in the afteroon. We were very impressed how good everything was signposted and it wasnt difficult to find your way around the track. Thanks to everybody, you made it a highly enjoyable day. Only downside I would say is the 4 hour wait between adult and kids races, which is tough if you are not local.
