This was a really well organised event, probably the best I have taken part in. The pre-rode safety video was really clear and covered all the salient points, and saved time on the day. Plenty of staff were around at the start and all were fully engaged, cheerful and helpful. Safety Marshals were positioned at all the vulnerable junctions. Direction markings, warning signs, etc. were well positioned and gave plenty of notice. Feed stations were well organised, well stocked and had a good range of products. The finish line was well organised - quite slick really. I’d definitely do another UKCE event again if that’s the standard of organisation.
