Second Sportiva event I have done and unlike some other "professional" race companies, these ones are properly run from start to finish. I enjoyed the route and would do it again.

This was an extremely well organised event with a particularly well signed route and very friendly, helpful marshals and volunteers. There was timely notification of the route change , due to forestry harvesting and I loved the new route! This being the first event since returning from a 3 month lay off due to an ankle injury, I was pleasantly surprised to see, in the results table, that I was first in my age category! As this was a 'recovery run for me' I was convinced that I wouldn't come first, hence why I didn't stay for the presentations. I will definitely be returning next year for another lovely trail event.! Perhaps in future, it may be worth considering if there is any way of informing category winnings when they cross the finish line, that they are a category winner. It might seem unimportant as a whole but on a personal , well being / motivational perspective it means a lot. Great event everyone ....I will definitely be back!
