I very much enjoyed the three events. Thanks also to the good weather. for mr average the 20-25 miles routes were a good length, unless your training for a major challenge, then the extra loop is really just a repeat with few takers. I believe in a challenge but the degree of difficulty and duration on some of the climbs would put a World Cup to shame. The majority of riders were weekend riders ,some with their families. the courses should be realistic to the average rider. I noticed that there was a substantial number of riders who did not finish, surely this is not what we are trying to achieve. I am 77 and completed all there rides and I am very pleased with my efforts, but please, don't get carried away by making the challenges to severe for the average rider next door. Keep riding David Eales.

My local riding spot but I have entered nearly every Quake since the beginning because of the great vibe, still discovering new routes or link ups, and the challenge of riding my best. Double loop this year, due to forestry works, was a new method and though I normally prefer a blind route on a marathon distance, it's hard to remember 20 miles exactly so the second lap still kept me on my toes. In fact, the trail was more bedded in after all the riders from the first lap, so was smoother and quicker, on the downhills! Will definitely be back next year, and at the Mendips and Exmoor. Another great event, excellently organized. If e-bikes could be identified in the list of completed times, that would be great. I appreciate that it is not a 'race' but would like to compare times with others on manual bikes. Not trying to stir anything up as the commerade...

Another excellent Quantock Quake and a fantastic day out from start to finish! A huge well done to everyone involved, both behind the scenes and those front of house on the day. As always, the event was exceptionally well organised, expertly managed, and marshalled throughout, making for a smooth, enjoyable and safe experience for all riders. The team at Channel Events deserve a massive pat on the back for delivering yet another outstanding sportive. The route showcased the stunning beauty of the Quantock Hills, providing challenging riding alongside some truly spectacular scenery. It's clear how much hard work, planning and dedication goes into making an event like this happen, and it certainly doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you to all the volunteers, marshals and organisers who helped make the day such a success. A brilliant event once again – I thoroughly enjoyed every mile and can't wait to be back for next year's edition! 👏🚴‍♂️🌟
