A tougher ride than I was expecting, which is not a criticism! This is a proper mountain bike ride, not a gravel spin. Steep hills and some chunky descents and beautiful views a plenty. Got lucky with the weather too 🌞

Absolutely loved this event - amazing team and organisation, incredible trail, technical and scenic. The comms are amazing too which made it easy to know what to expect, and where to go, what to bring etc. It’s so great just following an interesting route like this with easy waymark flags, and everyone participating in it that I cycled with/past/ chatted to were super friendly. I am doing the triple this year and can’t wait for the Exmoor Explorer next weekend. Well done Channel team!
