First time doing a Great Owl event but loved it and will be back for more. Organisers were super friendly and communicated everything really well. Course was about the challenge I was looking for and terrain varied enough to keep it interesting. Liked the more eco friendly wooden medal as a keepsake for my first time but probably would opt to leave that next time. Beer at the end was a great touch. Fantastic event.

Simple and friendly 10k along the canal. Enjoying the can of beer reward right now! Worth mentioning that parking at Kirkstall Bridge Shopping Park is free for 2.5 hours - doable for the 10k - maybe not the 10 miles!

For my first time running this route I found the event fantastic, all staff were welcoming and polite from bib pick up (on race day) to crossing the finish line. With doing the 10k route it was a simple out and back which was nice and easy to follow, the marshal at the turn around point handing out water was very friendly and helpful on having cups of water ready. Spot on day, well done to all involved.

Great event, well organised and friendly volunteers/staff made bib collection and bag drop easy. Slight bottleneck at the start of the event for a few mins, but that's to be expected on a canal race! Will definitely do Great Owl Running events again, and recommend to others!
