I enjoyed the Aquathlon however the weed in the lake was horrible, I got pulled under the water twice by weed which was quite scary even for a confident swimmer in open water with years of competing in open water events. There wasn’t much of an atmosphere around the run course apart from 2 spectators cheering, one of which was my partner. As I came out of transition into my run one of the team was doing the debrief for the dryathlon and stood right infront of me even though he looked right at me and saw me. Was also disappointed not to get a medal at the end as I know from friends and family who has done LPS events in the past all received medals.

Great organisation. For price could have had something other than sweets at end. Marshalls at finish seemed disinterested where as great marshalling all over course.
