Very well organised event, marshals were great, medal was lovely, love the smaller events. Only comments about today’s race, both myself and another runner came over for the weekend from Dursley, we hung around after the race for the prize giving but could only wait until 2pm as we were both on the 3.30pm boat and it did not happen- we were both 1st and 2nd in our age cats as well so this was a shame. Also, we understand it cannot be helped as we organise races for Dursley Running Club but we were disappointed about the other race not taking place as we had come over specifically for both the races.

The only issue I would bring up is the podium places for different age cats . For some reason Ryde Harriers only awarded podium places for the 1st and 2nd place winners of the relevant age cats , there was no recognition for the hard work and effort for the 3rd place winner.

Today, it had to be the weather ! Very close second was everything else. Sold as 3 hills so you know what to expect and didn't disappoint. Great marshals, well signposted, brilliant views. First timer but don't think it will be the last. Fantastic that Ryde organised discount...
