It's sea swim so always be prepared to swim in choppy and / or windy conditions. The organisers will cancel the swim and double up on what is a very dull run course making it a duathlon, which is not what you train for. The irony about the decision to cancel the swim was that the...

The organisers will cancel the swim and double up on what is a very dull run course making it a duathlon, which is not what you train for. The irony about the decision to cancel the swim was that the bike course, over Beachy Head. was far more challenging in the wind and a number of competitors dismounted.
