Loved the event - huge numbers of support volunteers made it very slick. Fun course. Even the hill (given 48 hours to reflect). Please consider a mandatory parachute attached to Matt Cox for future years.

This was only my second sprint triathlon - my first being Minehead 2024 at the tender age of 62! It stands to reason that I must have enjoyed the whole experience to enter again aged 63. Heartfelt thanks to all those who make this event so inclusive - the volunteers are exceptional in their encouragement and Dan and Jan have nailed it with their detailed and timely communication, both pre and post the event.

I originally found Channel events when a member of my Tri Club entered the Cl;evedon Swim/Run He ended up not doing it - so i roped in two others and we travelled down to enjoy a brilliant event. That event was SO well organized i thought lets go to Minehead and try the tri . I was not disappointed at all. The Same superb organization, Lovely friendly and easy booking into the event, plenty of 'crew staff' to ask the how, where and when questions etc. Sea swim was SO safe and secure, well marked with buoys and plenty of safety crew in the sea. Transition was right next to swim exit - again perfect. The bike ride was a good out and back course and was FULLY marshaled. It was a bit hilly but the roads chosen were quiet and well surfaced - so excellent. Transition 2 was the same as T! - perfect The run was out along the harbor, through the park and up the forest trail for a loop and back to the beach - brilliant, Varied and interesting, again, SO many marshals and helpers - all SO encouraging. Even to us people at the back of the field What stands out for me is the huge amount of effort to make everyone valued and welcome at Channel Events - Thank You!
