I really enjoyed this race, thank you - the "B" course was beautiful and really well organised and marshalled.

Despite having to change the route at the last minute it was very well organised . I have done the race many times and actually much preferred the full off road route!

Tadworth 10 is a regular race for me, a great way to kick off the year. When it's so cold outside, it's wonderful to be able to register and warm up in the warm in the grandstand - and amazingly there are never any queues for the loos! I actually liked this year's amended course - 4 laps of the downs with no road sections. A little congestion at the start, but then the route was good, with friendly marshalls to keep us on track. Hilly enough to be challenging, but not so steep to be exhausting. Choice of chocolate bars at the end was another plus. Looking forward to next year!

The route needed to be changed last minute due to the weather. Tadworth did this really well. The route was marshalled brilliantly and everyone was encouraging and kind despite the cold weather. Thank you again Tadworth for encouraging us to enter the hardest event ❤️🏃🏼‍♀️🙌🏻

Great event and beautiful course over the downs! Due to the extreme ice and snow, this year's course had to be adjusted to just cross country (no road) but a lovely 4 laps of the downs. Well organised and communication prior to event was excellent. Highly recommend!

There are few if any issues with this local event (indeed now local institution). The cohorts of local running groups from Surrey and South London (and further afield) attest to the popularity of this New Year shake out run. The ‘B’ course was used this year due to ice on the tarmac section of the regular “A” route – and aside from a few points of congestion, the all “off road” nature of the 10 miler this year added a real cross country feel to this undulating, track and bridleway course. There was no shortage of marshals; and you really get a sense that Tadworth Athletic Club members must recruit widely from friends and family to ensure there is no lack of high viz jackets throughout the course. So big shout out to everyone who braved the temperatures to stand, guide, and support. The registration / bag drop zone benefits from being in the Duchess's Stand (Epsom Racecourse) – so “Race HQ” is dry, warm, spacious, and very close to the start. The whole organisation has a professional vibe – which adds to the success of the day. My only minor gripe was that the coffee concession only took plastic (and I only had cash); this could, perhaps, have been flagged in the pre-race literature. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this 10 miler (there is a parallel 10k available) to anyone with the inclination (and trail shoes) to kick off 2027 next year.

Excellent organisation as ever by Tadworth Athletic. Always an enjoyable run with fantastic HQ facilities using the Epsom Race stand. Very well marshalled by friendly club members. Difficult for the club this year as the roads were still iced up so they very sensibly changed the course to a run around the race course - twice for the 10km event (so an 8km distance) and four times for the 10 mile traditional event. Highly recommend this race to kick start running for the New Year.

The race route was altered the day before due to treacherous ice patches on the Downs. This was a shame but absolutely necessary and the right call. In the event, the new route was still beautiful, well marshalled and (without the massive hill) very pleasant! It did mean that 10k runners had to downsize to an 8k. Although I’ve done 10 miles before I didn’t feel 10m ready so went for the 8k. Not quite what I’d planned but still a win at the start of Jan if you ask me. I love this race as it’s always so well supported by TAC members. It’s also great to have somewhere warm and with lots of loos at the start and finish to meet your mates. Great atmosphere.

Extremely well organized. This event had a change of run route to a new track only course on the beautiful Downs. Runners safety was top priority and the organisers adapted very well to enable this event to still go ahead despite severe weather conditions. I have run Tadworth Ten miles on two previous occasions and I will be back! I would highly recommend this Winter trail run . There is great support and it is suitable for all abilities and experience.
