We had a lovely day. Some of the family also did the 10 mile race and we all enjoyed a great experience. There were loads of friendly and helpful marshals on the routes and everyone appreciated the snacks offered at the end. Thank you for the organisation.

Always love this race. Loads communication with a great race briefing video. Friendly waste sign in. Toilets available near start. Marshalled over to start with friendly atmosphere. Timing chip so not an issue if starting further back. Friendly marshalls including some back runners who cheered on. Signage was comprehensive throughout. Water stations as required. Marshalls did fab job in some bad conditions. Quick access to results. Great medal and loads of chocolate and fruit at end with option to top up with payment to support a charity for cake or tea and coffee to support football club. Baggage area was superb... On par with slickness with London marathon and as local scout group helped them race money for their charity. Changing facilities warm and dry. Communication great after race too. Well done to the organisers.

Love doing this event. Everyone was so supportive even though weather was not the best!! Lots of finishing goodies to choose from and the medals and trophies were pretty cool. Thank you organisers!!

I ran the 5 mile run and my 2 boys ran the Junior 2km. All 3 of us really enjoyed the day (despite the morning rain!). Well organised event, everything went smoothly from check in to post race. The 5 mile run is a challenging route with the hills but the support from Marshalls helps. The junior run is more cross country and great fun according to my sons! Lovely medals too ! Look forward to next year

I've run the 10 mile course a few times in the past and it's always been an enjoyable event from start to finish. The marshalls are friendly and encouraging throughout the course. The event is well organised and I was impressed with the medal, and the water and snacks available at the end. Despite the horrendous weather, I felt that the organisers and marshalls did very well to deliver a great race for everyone. I'll definitely be back!
