This is my 3rd year running the Clacton half and so it’s clear that I enjoy this race. The course is excellent because what’s not to love about running alongside the North Sea? The communication was appropriate and the medal is brilliant! The two areas which I think could be improved are the water stations and the bag drop. It was a hot morning and the water provided at the stations was quite limited, unless you walked at the station and then took lots of cups (which would seem unfair to me). The bag dropped wasn’t managed, so we just have to trust that nothing goes missing!
