The event seemed chaotic and starting the half-marathon and 10K at the same time led to a bottle neck at the start. I also know that a steward misdirected someone running the 10K so he crossed the finish line after only 6K.

It was a very good event and really enjoyed the course. It was a very hot day and they needed more water stations as I ran out of water towards the end. The amount of water was rationed alot and there was so many people struggling and they filled it up to half a cup. I ended up asking to refill my bottle but they wasn't very happy with me. I also think there should be more course Marshalls as alot of them were not telling what way for people to go so alot of people got confused. The t shirt and the medal was lovely and very good quality and I do always enjoy the race. I do think a few things can be better to make it a much safer well run event.

Some minor issues, but still a race worth participating in. Great atmosphere. Lovely 2 races happening at same time. Need more water as none available at 2k so had to wait until 7k on baking hot day. Not enough water in cups & some of the helpers unaware of how to hand out water. 2/3 bottlenecks could be prevented if stagger races or set off in times. Better if pacers or time markings at start. Need a few toilets on the seafront as too far away especially at end of race. Helpful kind staff. Fantastic medal.
