The cycle route was clearly well thought out. All left turns, no traffic lights and hardly any cars. My first time at this event but I will definitely be doing it again.

Agree with other comments on here. Was advertised as chip time but no chip time used and then we only got semi results back for some participants. No explanation about why this was. The first wave went completely past the turn around marker as it was incorrectly positioned. Bike ...

Agree with other comments on here. Was advertised as chip time but no chip time used and then we only got semi results back for some participants. No explanation about why this was. The first wave went completely past the turn around marker as it was incorrectly positioned. Bike course had no Marshals so I agree with other comments in relation to this felt unsafe for £40 you would expect chip timing.

The whole event was excellent. The team worked really hard to make it fun and accessible to all abilities. The bike route was brilliant, with quiet roads and well signed throughout. A perfect event for anyone wanting to get into Tri/Duathlon!

Only a small criticism. As I know how hard it can be to organise events, I think the bike course could of done with having some more directional signs and prehaps some marshalls out on course. Just from a safety point of view. Great event though really enjoyed it!

Please note that the above scores are based on my own foolishness. I had somehow opted out of any pre-race comms, so I did not receive any. Furthermore, I missed the first turning on the bike, so I went straight for 8km before realising that I must've gone the wrong way, so I rode back & voluntarily DNFed. I saw the arrow pointing left after the tunnels on my way back & it was clearly visible. I'm an idiot. Note that I have got lost on fell runs on a number of occasions, so I have form. Thank you. Hopefully I'll be back next year & go the right way.
