This is a very friendly and fun event. I’ve done it a number of times. The only change I would make is At the end of the bike let we could continue down the hill round the round about and then back up to transition. Therefore dismounting on the side of the road where the hotel is. May make it a bit longer but safer. Other than that I love this event. I will definitely be doing it again next time. Thank you Andy for organising it

I did the Super Sprint. For me, a brilliant event and a pleasure to take part in. Very well run. Facilities excellent. Start/finish overall timing fine by me. I used my sports watch to record the individual run/bike/run details. Bike course was especially pretty. The road where the start/finish is located is a major road and can be very busy but Sunday mornings it’s quiet so no problems having to worry/wait for traffic to pass when on the ride. The traffic noise through the tunnels can be a shock, so watch out for that if you are a first timer. Run course is nice and safe with only one very, very quiet junction to cross. Everyone was friendly and chatty and it was especially nice to get encouragement from the faster runners I met, who were already on the return leg of the run!

A great first time Duathlon with a small friendly crowd of people that made it very easy to work out the logistics. Unfortunately someone had moved one of the road signs on the ride so we took a wrong turn. It was replaced by the time I did the second leg. A shame but out of the organisers control. The route was straightforward and the cycling was on quiet roads with plenty of other cyclists which made me feel safe. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and might have got the dualthlon bug….

Only bottle neck was a tractor pulling out on me. Sustainability (and costs) - is water absolutely necessary? Most people should have their own water?! Just a thought.
