← Run Leicester Festival
Enjoyed it, my second marathon, first was Liverpool being a really populated run, Leicester was the opposite.
The 1/2 and full start together, full splits after 5 mile and after a few more miles I found myself pretty much alone. Kind of nice if your ok with a bit of peace.
Stations were ok, plastic cups, meh. Water, high 5 drinks and the odd gel. Nicely space out.
Route was ok, some boring parts but 26 miles is a long way to keep interesting.nixe finishing 6 along a canal and through the centre.
Marshalls on the most were ok, few times I had wick way I was going but pretty happy overall.
Start and finish was straight forward, a nice finish, being pretty much on my own was decent taking all the applause.
Goodie bag was ok, tshirt,medal, crisps and a flapjack bar.
For the price of the event the package was good.
