Was on my childhood bucket list yet it took me till I was 36 to run the most famous marathon in the world!

Everything about this race was brilliant, exciting and emotional and I loved it all.

Initially the registration process was easy. I'm lucky and got a GFA place so no waiting for the ballot. The expo was easy to get to and well sign posted. Race day was equally well organised and well sign posted again. Lots if lovely marshals pointing you in the right direction.

I was in the green start and everything was really easy to see. Just enough toilets, bag drop very easy and starting pens easy to get to.

the actual run was excillerating, the crowd support was immense, you must have your name on your top, almost a million people shouting your name over 26.2 miles helps.....a lot!

Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge, Embankment and Buckingham Palace just a few of the highlights with the added bonus of my whole family watching a cheering too.
