← Adidas City Runs - Shoreditch 10K

10KM in the city, not the normal city though.

London has it fair share of 10km of which most manage to use the same stretch of London or a slight variant of it.  Which also happens to be the last section of the London Marathon, anyway I digress.

Normal rules apply.  Price for my place was free so good for me, I'm fully aware of the £40 price tag it comes with, as per normal mostly down to the local costs of policing and closing down London roads.  that think costs ££££££££££

You do get the a quality race day shirt with imprinted number on it, which makes them all unique to a point and on the verge of a bunch of convicts in the prison field, you also get your free pics and large bling if that is your thing.  So balance that of as you seem fit.

Bottle on course with quite a distance till the last bin.

Considering it was it's first running everything seemed to flow, toilet queues maybe a bit large getting towards race start.

Also when the mass of the finishers can in, it nearly started to backup to the finishing point.  so maybe a longer or wider exit point.

was plenty of drinks and food left for the later runners as far as I could tell.

All in all decent/slick race.... put still £40.

Parking around the local area is good few Sunday restrictions.  Try parking just North and West of the park, everything else you will get caught up in the race zone.

good entertainment at the village. Yoga mats??  Hipster land init!!!

Course is twisty with countless people cutting over the corners. but that races fault.
