this was the first time I have taken part in Kew 10k. I would have loved to do Richmond marathon too but it clashed with another event.

I organised the pacers for this event so there were many wearing the visor. We set off and immediately the course was so beautiful. It takes part within Kew Gardens and I don't think of could find a more beautiful setting.

The course is flat, easy to navigate and has plenty of room. There is one point it narrows and goes on trail, and one point you leave the park for a 100 metres and immediately before it was a bit of a building site, but other than that it was beautiful.

The crowd support was limited but this is because of the closed venue. All loved ones could enter free of charge and it was a great experience. The water point was a bit late and we fed this back to the organiser, and they have taken this on board.

A lovely event I can't wait to do again, and all #funbuses arrived on time.
