← Run Reigate Half Marathon,10K,5K & Kids

i ran the Reigate half for the first time last year on my own and thoroughly enjoyed it. The route is road and it doesn't loop back on itself or have a large section where you are opposite the faster runners. This is really good for morale boasting and shows that the race directors haven't been lazy with making up the distance miles. Great to have portaloos at every water station, a great touch. Wish there were more toilets at the start. Start pens were well managed and you didn't feel squashed while waiting to start. The event village was lively and friendly. Great to see young children line the course to support as they are the future of running. Fab work from Reigate college pupils, they were enjoying themselves which was great as they could have looked thoroughly bored  by having to volunteer by their school. Great value for money and local race for me. I don't like road races and tend to stick to trail but this is definitely one of my favourite road races.
