← Run Reigate Half Marathon,10K,5K & Kids

Arrived in Reigate nice and early, the start location is central to the town and it's huge and there was a good buzz around the event village even with over an hour before the start.

Bag drop was super easy in a huge covered marquee, I was able to use the portaloo's with zero queuing twice.

The start was one large wave, no smaller waves. There was a bit of a bottleneck getting out of Priory Park onto the main road and part of the path was a little slippery due to the conditions , however once on the road it cleared up and you could run at your own pace.

There is a hill straight out of Priory Park which is a bit of a shock but nothing too bad. The course then winds its way through villages and housing estates. The support on the course is second to none and people out offering water and jelly babies.

The course also takes in some really nice countryside, quieter on the spectators but plenty of marshals around who gave tons of support.

There was no chance to get lost, there were marshals and signs at every corner. Water Stations were far more frequent than normal - at least 3 on the 10k course.

There's a final hill and a long straight stretch to the finish. I should also point out that the distance markers were spot on too.

Medal, banana, water and a buff - no leaflets you didnt want or need.

The event village was well stocked with stalls and something for all the family.

Great event, can't wait for next year
