First thing from the better half.
One of the best races she has showed up to as a watcher with kids in toe, play ground was great, face painting, actives food ETC. town about a 5 min walk away... all very positive from that point of view.
So you can run and worry too much about grumpy faces when you get back.
Lots of non payment parking nearby, most restrictions Mon - Fri, this year at least.
Was on pacing duty so no comment on the price ETC.
Race it's self consists of 11 miles of slight up and downs, with a hill both at the start at the end. best to get some time in the bank during the 10 miles. The last hill will slow you down.
Water was well placed. Bling and T-shirt of a high standard.
For a relatively young race they have nailed it both for the runner and the spectator. All in all a great little half with the option of a shorter 10km. Near enough perfect.... apart from that hill but it add's too it's charm if nothing else.
Set within the finest English countryside.
