← Thorpe Park Sprint Triathlon September
Enjoyable race. When I entered it, I didn't fully appreaciate that the run was all within Thorpe Park, so that was quite cool.
Pre-race comms were clear and regular, which helped. Registration was a breeze(and indoors) on the morning.
Swim in the lake was fine, just got a bit silty and smelly right at the exit. Short jog to transtition on grass.
Bike initially through the service road which is twisty with caution needed. Then out onto main A roads for a single loop with two out and back sections. Flat and fast with only lump being over the motorway
Back via servcie road to the run which is again flat and round the Park for 2 laps. One dead turn, but a fast course
post race food etc was again indoors, which is great with the lovely British weather.
Slick operation IMHO
