← Kew Gardens 10K
I was the 60 minute pacer for this race and as such didn't pay for my entry so I haven't commented on value for money.
The race however was great, the course is almost all within the stunning Kew Gardens with a mixture of tarmac and gravel paths and is completely flat. The scenery is as stunning as you'd expect from the Royal Botanic Gardens.
A great touch was the Alice in Wonderland actors that prowled the route and hung around at the finish for photos although I'm still not sure if they were booked or just on their way back from a heavy night out.
My only criticism of this race is that the first water station was at 7km and the race brochure stated that it would be at 5km.
The medal was superb and doubles up as a handy bottle opener. The goody bag was also very good.
