Bacchus Half/Full Marathon is set in the beautiful Surrey Hills of Denbies Vineyard near Dorking Surrey.

You can choose a Half or Full distance course which is 2 laps. Half takes you on one lap through a very hilly, trail, mud XC route around the Estate. Every 3 miles you come to a Wine stop! Plus water, cake & Live Bands!
You can be any ability of a runner/jogger/walker it doesn't matter just gather a few friends together (more the merrier) pick some silly fancy dress and prepare to giggle, dance, laugh or cry your way round!
The Finish is all downhill to receive your bright Bling medal & your Hog Roast included in the price .. plus more wine & music!
Absolutely loved it & will definitely be back!

There is even a 5km fun run for families or any age to feel part of!

Registration was a bit crazy so you must arrive early! There is not much signage to direct you we couldn't find Bag drop had to keep asking people.

No toilets on route! 

Not much choice on feed stations just bits of cake ?? Could have done with a savoury choice to go down with the wine? 

My Mum was a Marshall for last 2 years at a feed station! She said unfortunately they changed organisers this year, she was astounded to hear of no toilets, no bananas or biscuits & only water as alternative liquid refreshment! 

The route it's self didn't actually measure Half Marathon!! Half a mile short ??? How do organises get it SO wrong.
