← Tholthorpe 10k

This was my second time running this race.  It is organised seamlessly by a committee of locals, and all credit to them.

Numbers and, new for this year chip timing, are collected on the day, which went very smoothly and no problems.  Race start and finish are in the beautiful village of Tholthorpe.

The course itself I find a little bland, not really much to see, mainly country lanes and fields. There is an incline at 8km but otherwise it is mostly flat. There is not much support around the course, given the rural nature of the lanes, although the finish line is well supported

There are home made sandwiches, cakes and refreshments available in the village hall afterwards.

Results available on a noticeboard in the hall pretty much straight away.

Overall, well organised and great day out.
