← Burnham Beeches Half-Marathon
This was my first time running Burnham Beeches and chose the 10k rather than the half. After a long walk to the start I was nicely warmed up. The run set off and I loved every minute of it, great marshalls, good local support and some beautiful scenery. All roads were closed so you could run at a good pace. Admittedly the run had a few more hills than I was expecting BUT the support got you through and I enjoyed the run. Excellent available water several times in a little pouch. The end was great running down hill through the school field with your name being called out on the loud speaker. The medal was truely fantstic along with a bag AND a t shirt with finishers name on. This was such a lovely touch at the end and although hot and tired I would definitely do this again.
