← Moonlight Challenge
This was the 1st event since SVN had started to manage the event .
The event started in the late afternoon & was a time challenge event, so as long as you complete 1 lap you are a finisher.
The event is held near reculver & you can see the towers for much of the race, the event is nearly flat with 1 slight hill & bridge over a dual carriage way. The event is easy to navigate with a railway crossing to go over, & this point was marshalled for safety, with the threat of disqualification if we didn't listen to the marshalls instructions. As this was the moonlight challenge, head torches were required after dusk, as there was not only a railway crossing but you were running along edge of ditches & dykes.
The event was like usual fun, relaxed & friendly with great support from event organisers & other runners.
