Here's my Race review in video https://youtu.be/EWPOB8vUPKo
At first you'll think £32 is a bit steep for a 10K, I mean you can run a half for that price right? But it's worth the money purely for the chance to finish inside the Olympic Stadium. As far as Inknow it's the only race that lets you cross the same finish line as Athletics legends.
As part of the Great Run Series this race has a seemless website, registration process & organisation is tip top.
Being held at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park all the facilities you need for large crowds (toilets, food) are all in place.
The race starts outside the Olympic Stadium & next to the Orbit Tower & it was amazing to be set off by Jo Pavey Team GB legend.
The route takes in the Aquatics, Velodrome, Orbit & Stadium. It's not supported all the way round but there were nice pockets of support from charity cheering spots.
the finish is what you go for and it's amazing running in that huge stadium, & you only have to do 10K to get there so it's accessible to all & not too big a challenge to have that experience.
I loved it, hope you do to if you go next year.
