Tough, honest course in chilly conditions. By far the toughest swim I've done with strong currents and lots of chop, out and back bike course x2 which was hilly on one direction and had a strong headwind on the other direction. The run was flat and had great atmosphere and support. Hats off to organizers, they pulled off an amazing event from start to finish, everything thought off to the smallest detail. Wasn't too impressed by Auckland as a city, but well worth doing the event and then combine with one of New Zealand's famous destinations.
