← Essar Chester Half Marathon
Billed as a flat race but not really as there are a couple of moderate climbs out on the course and the last 2k is a steady climb back into the city centre. This is the second time I have completed Chester Half and it was the first half I ever took part in and I think it will be one of my favourites and a must do each year.
The support from the local community and volunteers is amazing and definitely gives you that extra push when needed.
A challenging but enjoyable course, it takes in the beauty of the city centre and the rural areas that surround the city. At one point on the course you are only about half a mile (maybe less) to the Welsh border (home for me!). My nearest Half Marathon and one I can't wait to do again!
