I was not sure what to expect when i signed up for hte first London10.
So my expectations were not to high as its a learning curve for the organisers.
Bits i enjoyed :-
Bike storage was good, organised very well and i felt my bike was secure when i walked away as they have a security guy and would only let you in and out if your sticker on bike matched your wrist band so this was a great start.
Bag drop was a little slow.
Warm up was good and got everyone involved.
The course was loverly, a couple of hills thrown in but you cannot expect to get a race medal for free you do actually have to earn it.
Shotbloks at about mile 5 went down well despite the fact that they were not easy to access.
Actual runners were all very pleasant as well.
Bad points :(
Water stations issued water in cups, its so hard to drink from water from a cup when you are running you actually wear more than you drink.
Water bottles is a must for 2018, the mini 250ml would be sufficient.
The start time was a little late for a race in June, the sun was shining and a 10.45 race start time was not ideal.
No fruit for after either which is rare for a race, normally atleast 1 banana.
Overall i really enjoyed this race and would deffo do the 2018.
