← Mobberley Round The Runway 5
This is a very popular local event organised by Wilmslow Running Club and regularly sells out within a couple of weeks of becoming available. There's a limited number of runners (about 400 I believe) for safety.
The route starts and ends in a field just outside the village of Mobberley and the first and last mile or so is on quiet country lanes with the rest on trails and paths which circumvent the airport.
The course is flat, save for dropping down to the rivver to go under the runway, and then sharply up the other side. Extremely well marshalled with no (realistic) risk of getting lost.
Registration was at the start and plenty of queues to easily pick up your number. Just a bottle of water at the end but for £9 it's good value.
