My 2nd year at this event, and despite the weather being slightly more inclement than last year the whole experience was just as enjoyable. The organisation from registration through to the handing out of goody bags was excellent. The weather seemed to put off some of the local residents as there were definately fewer around the course, but the marshalls once again more than made up for this and their words of encouragment and cheerful happy faces were most welcome.  The water stations are well organised and once past the finishing line everything also ran smoothly. The half marathon route is just taxing enough for most people and abilities and is a pleasant route, the signposting is excellent with no confusion at the half and full split. It was evident that there were more runners than last year and at times and at certain pinch points it was a little difficult to pass slower runners. I really enjoyed the whole experience and will be signing up again for next year.
