← MK Marathon Weekend
First time I've done this race. To be honest the actual course didn't float my boat, with some energy sapping climbs in the forst half, however the marshals were fantastic. Support was sporadic but was in the whole very enthusiastic, although other city events are better supported. Water stations are well manned at the water is in small bottles which is always welcome, however decanting energy drinks into small cups really is tight fisted!
Superb stadium finish helps make the event a little bit special and the medal and tshirt are the icing on the cake.
All in all, a well organised event and although I'm not itching to run it again, I'll probably return in a couple of years.
