What a difference for me from last year and all because I ran with a pacer. The pacer was excellent not just setting a steady pace and keeping me reigned in early on but offering tips and information about the course and what was coming up. Check people's times and see how everyone goes off too fast, sticking with a pace group is the way to go.
The corral system was changed this year and still I couldn't get close to the pacer at this point. Please line us up behind the start line and increase the size of the corrals.
Water stations and cycling marshals were perfect. Local support was excellent. Stadium finish is good but would appreciate crowd before finish and not so much after finish.
If you are looking for a first marathon I would recommend MK!
