I completed the 20km.
I really enjoyed this race. The atmosphere was laid back and supportive. All the marshals on course were very friendly and encouraging and so were the other runners. The check points had tons of food, which was nice. The registration was simple and the bag check was very appreciated.
the course was beautiful with different terrain- woods, canal path, and some road through some small villages. We were lucky that there were also tons of bluebells in bloom. For the most part it was easy to navigate however I did get lost right at the end. I'm not sure if a marker had gone missing but another runner was also lost at the same location so one more arrow would have been helpful as well as another sign on the bag drop room at the end.
I would definitely recommend this race especially for people new to trail running.
