I competed in this event in 2016 and I must say that although the course was great as was the support from the crowds, it was the bag drop that let the event down. It was a bun fight, taking people 90mins + to collect bags. Organisers cleary took notice for 2017, and the pre event athlete village was fantastic. Loads of loos, and loads of proper signed marquees for bags. No queue to give bag in, and amazingly no queue at all to collect - hugely appreciated by everyone! A fantatsic event, will certainly be back in 2018.
