I took part in Limassol marathon for the first time this year. The organisers were friendly and helpful making this event much more than just a marathon.

race numbers were sent to the hotel for runners, pasta party provided, and a well organised event.

the course itself is scenic and beautiful, which is easily navigated and well supported by marshals. There are a few quiet sections which lack support, but the running of the 5k, 10k, Half and full at the same time populates the course more.

Aid stations are well staffed and I received a bottle of water every 2.5k. Gels and energy drinks were handed out in cups, although I didn't drink them as the first didn't taste great.

This course has real PB potential and is mostly flat, although there are some long inclines later on in the course. The heat can have an impact but the water stations kept me cool and hydrated. I didn't PB but I felt fast and this really does have good potential.

I have done Lucerne marathon and I preferred this course for the natural beauty.
