← Palace Half Marathon
A super windy day but as a group of 7 team buddies we arrived with anticipation to race.
A great start in Wave 2 for me and easy along the Thames fr the first 3 miles with the wind. Turning in Kingston for the return To Hampton Court let us feel the wind for the first time poperly but not too bad. BAck along the Thames again for miles 8 - 11 and time to rest befor ethe wind really hit home for the last 2 back to the Palace.
High fiving Henry VIII was cool and an excellent goodbag laden with Tshirt, drink and food was well received.
Not quite a PB for me but 1:45 was certainly a good result for a training run.
And the "Kept totally secret" medal is a winner too.
