I thoroughly enjoyed this race. it takes place mostly on pavements instead of closed roads, so less disruption to traffic.
Start and Finish is right in the centre so plenty of spectators to cheer you on at the end. Last mile is uphill, but otherwise the course is mainly flat!
Unluckily, there was a giant puddle 1.7miles in on this day, which could not be avoided on the route so soggy trainers/socks for the majority of the race! Would have been better if there was a slight diversion to the planned route instead.
Marshals did a great job, course was easily navigated and medal is superb!
