Milton Keynes has a great running scene and the Festival of Running every March adds to that.

The race is great and with options form 5k to 20 miles there is something for everyone and the city centre start with closed roads is awesome.

The race takes you round some of the beautiful parkland we are lucky enough to have here in MK and is well marshalled and well supported.

My only criticism of this event is the poor communications. The race pack contained only a race number, no instructions or itinerary and the pre race emails were hit and miss. I only received one with limited info whereas one of my friends received a couple and filled me in on what I'd missed and another friend received none at all. Also the info on the website is not as complete as it could have been.

Get this right and this could be a first class event. 

It is excellent value for money and good fun.
