Two constructive criticisms first
- more toilets! I missed the start of the race after queueing for almost 25 minutes, which I had assumed would have been more than enough.
- opening few miles very congested - narrow pavements by busy roads meant no chance of safe overtaking, and a very slow start.
Otherwise, I cannot praise this event enough. Fantastic marshalls - vocal and helpful - flat and clearly signposted course. Great goodie bags, post race physio, running past Hampton Court was beautiful, pre race communication was clear, excellent medal.
Will be doing again next year and encourage others to do the same!
