I've done London Winter Run for the last 3 years and it has become my favourite race. Organisation was spot on this year - we hadn't received a race pack which was sorted out within minutes of arriving(zero queues!), baggage was very quick and simple.
The start, I must admit was not the best, despite being given start times, the actual starting line appeared to be free for all and there was no organisation, no seperation of waves into start times so everyone bundled in together, regardless of fitness/running ability, meaning that the start was a bit of a pain.
However, the course, overall management of the race and the volunteers was spot on. I have to give extra kudos to the volunteers/characters out on the course as they were so energetic and were grea support!
Another slight niggle was the fact that the course appeared to be too long, instead of 6.2, my watch registered 6.6 miles and I've heard of many others registering the same issue.
Dispite this, I had a great time and the medal was awesome as always! I'll be looking forward to next years event!
