This was an event that was organized by people who are apparently not experienced.
Firstly, they asked from each particpant for separate health certificates although they were presented with athletes' 2015 licences (which are issued if the athlete possesses a valid health certificate).
Secondly, swim leg was way over 750m, everone i asked measured from 950 to 1050m.
Thirdly, the transition zone was congested, with cycling and running legs starting and passing through a narrow, marble paved (thus slippery) pavement.
Fourthly, due to the absence of marshals, drafting was abused.
Lastly, although having used (and paid for) timing chips, the results have been issued approx 24 hours after the event concluded.
Our primary concern was athletes' health and safety and this was a great success. Swimming distance was measured and certified by Hellenic Triathlon Federation and applied by Lifeguard Hellas. Thank you for your feedback Alexandra, looking forward to seeing you next year! - TRIMORE
